Project manager

As Project Manager you will be responsible for the successful execution of digitalization and software projects. Your main objective is to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, on time, within budget, according to the project specifications and in line with our quality, information security and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • You manage and oversee all aspects of a project to ensure successful completion, client acceptance and satisfaction
  • You coordinate and document all project phases: Initiation & Kick-off; Planning & Design; Hardware & Infrastructure; Implementation; Monitoring & Control; Testing, Training & Documentation; Go-Live & Project Closure
  • You define the project scope, produce detailed project plans, schedules, and task lists; assign internal and external resources
  • You organize and coordinate customer meetings to gather and understand client objectives
  • You work closely with software developers to design and deliver solutions that best meet customer needs and specifications; and with the team leads (Operations) to efficiently organize and implement the project in line client expectations
  • You continuously monitor the project progress and report regularly via meetings and project status reporting. You define / set up and maintain relevant objectives and KPIs.
  • You manage project risks and quality issues throughout the project lifecycle; initiate preventive and corrective measures. If necessary and in consultation with the account managers or team leads, you participate in contractual discussions with the client/suppliers/subcontractors
  • You ensure that change requests are handled and controlled in accordance with project governance; avoid scope creep
  • You manage project budgets, perform financial monitoring, and take actions whenever necessary
  • You manage, coach and lead project team members; act as SPOC for clients; ensure alignment between all stakeholders

You report to the CEO and are part of a team of 3 project managers.
Going forward and depending on your development you can grow into the role of the lead of the PMO-team.

Qualifications

  • Higher education degree (Master) e.g. technical degree
  • Proven experience leading project teams to achieve milestones and objectives
  • Experience with project management methods – preferable PMO-certification e.g. PMI, PRINCE2 or Lean Six Sigma.
  • Experience with DMS, Digital Transformation projects, Enterprise AI
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in tandem using strong organizational and planning skills
  • Good client facing and stakeholder management skills; commercial acumen
  • High degree of self-motivation, excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Active listener able to build relationships with clients/suppliers/subcontractors, effectively balancing technical and social aspects
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills to easily integrate into any new or existing team and to facilitate change processes
  • Ability to handle high-pressure, high-stress situations and changing priorities
  • Desire to further develop and expand own skillset
  • Fluent Dutch/French and English knowledge
